Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus

June 15th, 2024-- CURRENT PRODUCTION
I will heading out to do my second year of tour with the Ringling Circus in about 10 days. Last year I had the position of assistant props/assistant technical director (ATD) and this year I got a promotion to the head of the props department and continuing my role as ATD. Our schedule has us staying busy with a new city each week. I always loved going to the circus as a kid because of my gymnastics background. I feel so blessed to be an integral part of the Greatest Show on Earth. The 24-25 tour season starts in July in Phoenix, AZ and runs until April 2025. Sesame Street Live--Make Your Magic
March 15th, 2023
And just like that my second tour is over! I had such a job being assistant props/assistant stage manager for the 22-23 Sesame Street Live Tour. We had three semi trucks of show elements and bounced from city to city. One week we did three cities in three days! We had a cast of 12 with most performers being both dancer and character. Being a smaller tour, sesame street really felt like family. Some of my job duties consisted of loading in all three trucks, setting up scenic/prop items, running a show track, and loading out. We concluded the tour celebrating over 100 runs of the show in February at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NYC!

A Summer at Black Hills Playhouse
The Mountaintop by Katori Hall and Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella
August 15th, 2022//edited on 6/17/2024
I had the pleasure of stage managing at Black Hills Playhouse; a theatre that I previously worked at as a props intern, so moving up into the stage management light was a dream come true. I stage managed a play called The Mountaintop by Katori Hall and the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Cinderella. The Mountaintop was a very thought-provoking play with two characters. It was a intimate play space and a show I felt so blessed to be a part of telling. Cinderella we had a cast of 16 and during tech week 8 of them including myself and the director were in quarantine due to covid, but alas the show must go on! With the help of a community and the magic of the hills we had a wonderful opening night just in time! The mountaintop ran for a total of two weeks with 10 shows and Cinderella had a three week run with 20 shows.

The Thorn
February 7th, 2022//edited on 6/17/2024
I could not be more excited to begin my first tour! The Thorn is a cirque-style passion play with martial artists, aerialists, tumbling, dance, etc. I will be the stage manager, props master, and acting in the show. I will not be calling the show, but I will be doing the other normal paperwork and duties of a stage manager. It is a two-week tour in Denver and Colorado Springs, CO. The first week we will be filming it to be released in theatres later this year. The show runs from March 4th - March 13th. The show is now available on DVD!
